In an announcement, HATTA underlined that a certified travel agency is the most appropriate “partner” to travel with as it is in the position to choose quality and economical services for a traveler’s personal needs. “A travel agency can book a hotel at the best prices in close distance to the desired location, arrange for air or ferry tickets without burdening the passenger with flight information and schedules,” HATTA said. The association also informed consumers that travel agencies give advise on details that concern the laws of the selected country. In conclusion, HATTA advised travelers to always prefer certified travel agencies that are authorized by the GNTO. Additionally, HATTA also announced that this year it changed its “member seal” and advises travelers to make certain the travel agency they are dealing with is a HATTA member. “The HATTA seal is a guarantee that when one travels they will have a safe return,” the association said.
