Happenings HATTA Distributes Free Trips To Greek Radio Fans by GTP editing team 10 October 2012 written by GTP editing team 10 October 2012 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 36 On the occasion of World Tourism Day (27 September), the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) distributed complimentary accommodation vouchers to Greeks who tuned in to SKAI FM 100.3 during a seven-day radio contest. Through the contest, Greek travel agencies (HATTA members) wanted to show their optimism and make Greek consumers smile by bringing them in direct contact with different destinations in the country. “Greek tourism needs a change in thinking, a change in mentality… Intelligent and targeted interventions are needed. International competition is intensifying and no one is waiting for us,” HATTA’s president, Giorgos Telonis said. Giorgos Telonis, president of the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA). The winners were announced after a draw on Friday, 5 October, at SKAI radio station. The association posted the winners names on its website. HATTA members that offered prizes to Greek consumers included Five Continent Cruises, Manessis Travel, Aegialis Tours, Teamwork Holidays and Fantasy Travel.
