According to an announcement, the new three-day tourist ticket of the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) will permit unlimited travel on buses, trolleys, electric railway (ISAP), tram and metro as far as Koropi station. The ticket will be valid for 72 hours after it is first validated on a route to and from Athens International Airport (AIA) via metro or airport express bus lines. The three-day tourist ticket will cost 20 euros. The decision includes the launch of a new weekly ticket for the airport (valid for seven days) that will be valid for all public transport means of OASA group and permit an unlimited number of trips, including airport lines via metro and express bus. The seven-day ticket will cost 50 euros. In addition, the metro ticket price from stations Pallini-Kantza-Koropi to and from Athens Airport will be set at six euros. The current “metro monthly pass” will soon be a “monthly airport pass” for unlimited trips to and from the airport via all modes of public transport.
