The committee has recognized the thermal springs Agrapidia in Florina and Frini Skourtanioti in Edipsos. It is reminded that the Natural Thermal Resources Protection Committee has already certified the following thermal springs: Lake Vouliagmenis (Attica), Kamena Vourla (Municipality of Agios Konstantinos-Molos, region of Central Greece) and Krinides (Kavala), Loutraki-Pozar (Aridaia), Souroti (Thessaloniki), Kanistra (Kassandra, Chalkidiki), Kallithea (Rhodes), Loutraki-Perachora (Corinth), Thermi (Thessaloniki), Parenesti (Drama), Gialtra (Edipsos, Evia), Hanopoulos (Arta prefecture), Nea Apollonia (Volvi), Papaioannou (Edipsos), Traianoupoli (Evros) Thermae Sylla (Edipsos), Diamanti-Peponi (Edipsos) and Agios Fokas (Kos). The ministry aims to continue recognizing thermal springs throughout Greece to include them within the overall development of the national tourism product.
