The CEO of TUI Travel PLC, Peter Long, will arrive in Greece in mid-September to hold meetings with Greek tourism professionals from Corfu, the Peloponnese and Kos. Mr. Long will be accompanied by members of the Board and senior executives of the group.

According to Mihalis Mavropoulos, CEO of TUI Hellas, Mr. Long’s visit is another indication of the tour operating group’s “high strategic interest” in Greece.

Over 1.4 million tourists annually travel to Greece through TUI, forming a 25 percent market share for the tour operating giant.

During his stay in Corfu, the Peloponnese and Kos, Mr. Long will meet with TUI’s Greek partners to thank them for their excellent relationship with the group, encourage them to continue their exemplary effort and congratulate them on Greece’s successful tourism season.
