The news portal will be promoting Greece as a tourism destination, every day until the end of May. Die Zeit also ran an article on Greece recently and noted that 2014 will be a record year for Greek tourism. “Greece has rid itself of the image of the country in crisis,” the media said. The German newspaper underlined that the Acropolis in Athens is open seven days a week this summer and that museums and archaeological sites in the country are operating on extended hours. The article also included statements of Greek hoteliers who have reported an increase in early bookings and expect record arrivals this season.
