Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. To qualify for an award, a restaurant’s wine list must present complete, accurate wine information. The two Greek restaurants are the only ones in Athens that are included in the Wine Spectator’s 2014 list for having the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world. GB Roof Garden GB Roof Garden Last year the GB Roof Garden was included in the list of distinguished wine lists and was among the 2,791 that received the “Award of Excellence 2013.” This year, the restaurant of the Hotel Grande Bretagne was awarded with the “Best of Award of Excellence 2014,” a distinction that honors it and sets the bar extremely high.
