Tenders Greece Launches Tender For Peace and Friendship Stadium and Athens Marina by GTP editing team 10 October 2014 written by GTP editing team 10 October 2014 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 54 Photo source: TAIPED The Greek state privatization fund TAIPED has launched an international tender for the development and management of parts of the property in the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) and the adjacent plot for a period of 99 years. This also includes the right of management and exploitation of the Faliro tourist port (Athens Marina), east of the Stadium, for a period of 50 years. The existing sports facilities of SEF will be maintained and further enhanced and therefore are not part of the tender. SEF has a total surface of 343,760 square meters and includes areas and facilities for recreation and cultural. The adjacent plot has a surface of some 22,000 square meters, which is adjacent to the northeast end of SEF. The stadium is situated 5 km away from Piraeus Port, on Posidonos Avenue in the western corner of Faliro Bay in Neo Faliro. Moreover, it is located 10 km away from Athens city center and 36 km from Athens International Airport.
