Leto Hotel

The four-star Leto Hotel on the Saronic island of Hydra, is celebrating its 50th birthday on August 21 with a benefit concert.

The event, which was initially organized six years ago in memory of the hotel’s late founder, Kostis Sofianos, will feature classical music.

With acclaimed violinist Yannis Georgiadis at the podium, the concert will take place in the courtyard of the Holy Diocese, and will feature a chamber music orchestra performing Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards the needs of the island’s hospital. Leto supports other charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions

Hydra_Leto5A member of the Small Elegant Hotels and a winner this year of the TripAdvisor Excellence Certificate, the Leto Hotel has since 1965 offered quality, passion and hospitality to hundreds of visitors with its head, Jenny Sofianou playing a leading role in the promotion of the sector’s needs as well as supporting, among others, initiatives that promote Greek culture such as the Greek breakfast project.

Very emotional and wonderful idea. I am a classical piano pedagogue and believe this will be such an enjoyable and memorable event.
