Elly_Paspala_I_love_Athens_2Athens International Airport (AIA) loves connecting people, cultures, routes and most of all… cities! Having fostered a “City Pair” tradition and being a music-loving airport, AIA next week will welcome the renowned Greek singer Elly Paspala and the Underground Youth Orchestra for the first official performance of the song “I love Athens!”.

An adaptation of Cole Porter’s 1953 song “I love Paris”, an unforgettable hymn to the French city, ”I love Athens!” will be performed for the first time on Wednesday, September 16, at 12:30.

Dedicated to the Greek capital, “I Love Athens!” will be presented along with a selection of wonderful melodies performed by Elly Paspala’s unique voice in the airport’s Departures’ Area.

AIA is inviting all passengers, music lovers and Athens fans to the check-in area / counters 89-94, to take a musical journey dedicated to the Greek capital through a special performance by Elly Paspala.

During the event, a raffle offering tickets to Paris will take place by Air France.
