In a statement the airline said that it carried 7.4 million passengers last month compared with 5.8 million in February the previous year, a rise of 28 percent. The airline’s load factor (how many seats it fills on each flight) also increased to 93 percent from 89 percent. “These record monthly numbers and load factors are due to our lower fares, our stronger forward bookings and the continuing success of our ‘Always Getting Better’ customer experience programme, which continues to deliver better than expected traffic and load factors”, Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said.
