The Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association recently joined forces with the “We do local” initiative in an aim to upgrade the quality of the Greek capital’s tourism product.

According to an announcement, a cooperation agreement was signed last week between the association’s president, Alexandros Vassilikos and Andreas Metaxas, the CEO of Local Production & Hosting SA, the managing company of “We do local”.

“We do local” is an ambitious initiative that promotes local culture and cuisine, supports local producers and human resources and respects the environment.

Set up in collaboration with tourist professionals of Crete, “We do local” is an accreditation body offering annual certification to ventures that successfully support and promote the island’s products.

The cooperation with “We do local” is just one more synergy launched by the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association in recent years. The association has come to play a crucial role in the overall development of the region’s tourism and contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of the destination of Attica and of the Agrosaronic islands.
