Passengers flying a domestic flight of two hours or less used to have to pay 30 euros to check in a 15kg bag and 40 euros for luggage weighing 20kg. According to the new charges, check in for a 15kg bag now costs 15 euros and 25 euros for a 20kg piece of luggage. Customers travelling to destinations under three hours will also see reduced prices, while passengers booked on flights longer than three hours will see baggage prices remain the same. “Furthermore, customers will also be able to add bags to their bookings via the Ryanair app up to 3 hours before their scheduled time of departure”, Mr Jacobs added.
