Thessaloniki’s landmark Makedonia Palace hotel recently hosted its last congress for 2016, completing a series of successful events that took place this year on its premises.

The hotel hosted the 9th National Congress of Ocular Inflammation and Infectious Diseases, along with over 500 delegates, during December 2-4.

According to Sofia Androudi, president of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Ocular Inflammations and Infections (EEMOFL), the cooperation with Makedonia Palace for the hosting of the bi-annual meeting was more than satisfactory and its hospitality was “excellent”.

In an announcement, Makedonia Palace’s marketing director, Anti Panagiotidou, expressed her satisfaction with the significant presence of the hotel in the conference tourism sector during 2016.

She also expressed confidence that 2017 will be a special year of growth for Makedonia Palace, as its revamp will be completed.
