‘HolidayCheck’ Awards 54 Hotels in Greece for 2018

Fifty-four Greek hotels recently received the HolidayCheck Award 2018 (compared to 53 in 2017) out of a total of 705 hotels that won the prize in 38 countries.

Among the Greek winners, 11 hotels received the HolidayCheck Gold Award.

Organized for the thirteenth consecutive year by the German travel portal HolidayCheck, the HolidayCheck Award 2018 is given to the most popular hotels in the world based on 900,000 guest reviews published on the portal within the last 12 months.

According to HolidayCheck, the top hotel in Greece is Villa Stella Apartments in Kavala, northern Greece, which also topped the list in 2016.

The  HolidayCheck Gold Award

For the second time, the HolidayCheck Gold Award was given to hotels that have been receiving consistently excellent reviews and thus have been among the winners of the HolidayCheck Award for at least five consecutive years. A total of 99 hotels which are spread all over the globe have been presented with the Gold Award for 2018.

For 2018, Greece counts eleven winners of the HolidayCheck Gold Award. Among them are Hotel Maistrali and Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa in Halkidiki; Robinson Club Daidalos,  Neptune Hotel – Resort Convention Centre & Spa and Hotel Horizon Beach Resort on Kos; Hotel Corissia Princess and Hotel Corissia Beach on Crete and Hotel Kalithea Horizon Royal on Rhodes.
