Scoot Named Best Low-cost Carrier at TTG Travel Awards 2019

Scoot, the low cost arm of Singapore Airlines, has been named “Best Low-cost Carrier” for the Asia Pacific region at the 30th TTG Travel Awards 2019.

This is the carrier’s first honor since the awards’ inception in 2011 from TTG Asia Media, Asia Pacific’s leading travel trade publisher and events organizer.

The TTG Travel Awards is organized annually by TTG Asia, with the voting procedure being open to readers and travel industry professionals.

As Scoot continues to grow, with nine new destinations to be launched by the end of 2020, the airline will remain focused on improving the customer experience while delivering better value. To that end, Scoot will move its operations from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 from October 22.

In addition, Scoot has removed all payment processing fees globally with effect from September 23, for all bookings made on its direct channels.

Customers travelling from Athens can connect from Singapore to over 60 destinations across 17 countries and territories on Scoot’s network, including popular destinations in Australia, Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia.
