Sabre Corporation, a leading technology provider to the global travel industry, has appointed Frank Trampert as the new managing director and chief commercial officer of Sabre Hospitality Solutions for EMEA & APAC.

In an announcement, Sabre said it is committed to the continued success of EMEA and APAC and recognizes the importance of developing strong regional capabilities to better serve customers, understand local needs and access global talent.

“Under Frank’s leadership, we have seen growth and an improved focus on driving consistency within both regions. He knows the business in and out, having continuously driven customer conversations about the proven value of Sabre’s product portfolio,” said Clinton Anderson, President of Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

Having joined Sabre in January 2017 to lead Sabre’s APAC region, Trampert first oversaw the growth of Sabre Hospitality Solutions within APAC, until he took-on an interim role earlier this year, to include EMEA within the territories he was accountable for.

“I am confident that Frank is the ideal leader to allow us to capitalize on the opportunities ahead in two key, global markets, in addition to delivering on our promise of uncompromising distribution and intelligent retailing, to hoteliers worldwide,” Anderson added.

Prior to joining Sabre, Trampert held numerous high-profile roles within the industry, including leadership positions with Wyndham Hotel Group in Hong Kong, Carlson Hotels across four continents, Brand Karma in Singapore, and most recently as the CEO for Tune Hotel Group in Malaysia.

Trampert holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the College of Hotel Management in Heidelberg, Germany. He also holds an English degree from the University of New South Wales, in addition to a degree in financial management from Cornell University.
