The Thessaloniki Tourism Organization (TTO) recently launched the Spanish version of its official website, aiming to attract Spanish-speaking travelers to the northern port city.

Already available in English, Greek, Russian, German, Italian and Chinese, the Thessaloniki.Travel website “speaks” a total of seven languages and offers information on Thessaloniki’s main sites of interest, history, culture, gastronomy and many more.

“Spanish-speaking travelers now have the opportunity to travel to Thessaloniki and discover first-hand the meaning of the motto ‘Thessaloniki – Many Stories, One Heart'”, the organization said in an announcement.

Internet users can tour Thessaloniki, get familiar with its daily routine, beauties, monuments, history, culture and gastronomy; follow its historic routes; learn more on its educational organizations, festivals, entertainment and event venues; receive information on its hotels and transportation options.

A panorama of the city’s tourism areas and nearby destinations is also available in Spanish.

According to the organization, the website’s content has been translated into Spanish in collaboration with the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada.

The Spanish version of TTO’s website is available on https://thessaloniki.travel/es/.
