To be carried out between February 3-5, the municipality’s action plan aims to inform and protect citizens as well as raise awareness on prevention measures against cancer. All Municipal Clinics apply strict health protocols including temperature checks prior to entry, use of masks and gloves, and social distancing. Furthermore, citizens that wish to undergo free cancer screening tests must book an appointment via telephone at the following clinics: 1st Municipal Health Clinic – Athens center Test-Pap and skin examination – February 3-5 Prostate examination – February 4 78, Solonos street, tel.: 210 3626587 2nd Municipal Health Clinic – Neos Kosmos Test-Pap – February 3-5 Fanosthenous & Friderikou Smith streets, tel.: 210 9239865 4th Municipal Health Clinic – Kolonos Test-Pap – February 3-5 Propontidos & 110 Agias Sofias streets, tel.: 210 5121921 6th Municipal Health Clinic – Kypseli Test-Pap – February 3-5 4B Chanion St, tel.: 210 8836200 In addition, the municipality on February 4 at 5pm will hold a webinar with the participation of experts and doctors who will analyze issues related to the disease and its psychological footprint. The webinar has no cost and can be seen here. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the City of Athens Department of Municipal Clinics & Public Health and the Hellenic Cancer Society.
