Alitalia this summer will connect Rome Fiumicino airport with nine Greek islands and Milan Linate airport with Rhodes.

According to a company announcement, the airline will offer seasonal flights to Greece, connecting Rome Fiumicino airport with the airports of Rhodes, Heraklion (Crete), Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos, Mykonos, Santorini, Skiathos, Preveza (Lefkada), as well as Milan Linate airport with Rhodes and vice versa.

In detail, Alitalia will operate flights from Rome Fiumicino to Rhodes from July 3 until September 5 (two weekly flights in July and four weekly flights in August), two weekly flights to Heraklion (from July 1 until August 31), Corfu (from August 3 to August 31), Kefalonia (from August 3 until August 31), Zakynthos (from July 3 until August 30), Mykonos (from July 2 to August 31), Santorini (from August 2 to August 30), Skiathos (from August 2 to August 30) and Preveza (from August 2 to August 30).

Alitalia will also connect Milan Linate airport with Rhodes two times per week from July 3 until September 5.

Flying safely has always been Alitalia’s priority. In compliance with the current Italian and international regulations, all Alitalia aircraft are sanitized with high-powered sanitizing products every day and, thanks to HEPA filters and vertical circulation, the air on board is not only renewed every three minutes, but it is also 99.7 percent pure, just like in a sterile medical room, confirming that air travel remains the safest way to travel.

In addition, passengers must wear a protective surgical mask from their arrival at the airport and during the flight. The protective surgical mask must be replaced with a new one every 4 hours, in case of longer flights.

Flights schedule may be subject to changes, due to travel limitations imposed by national and international authorities, in relation to the evolution of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
