The following policy, revised on December 30, 2021, is applicable for passengers holding tickets, regardless of booking channel, issued on/before January 31, 2022, for travel between March 1, 2020, to April 30, 2022. Date Change Fee • Unlimited free date changes are allowed. If for any reason, customers are unable to travel on originally scheduled travel date, they must cancel their reservation and exchange ticket with new travel a least one day before departure to avoid no-show fee. Change requests can be performed through the Ethiopian Airlines sales office, Global Call and Interaction Center (GCIC), and the agencies from which the ticket was purchased. Refunds • For any travel which was affected by COVID-19 & refundable tickets which were issued on/before December 31,2020; full refund will be processed. The refund should be completed before January 31, 2022. • Tickets that are issued on/before December 31,2020 are no longer valid for travel. • For tickets issued on/after January 01, 2021; refunds & all other related rules will be governed by the fare/system rule. For flights cancelled by the airline, passengers should seek guidance from the service recovery policy of the company.
