Researchers from Superdry analyzed a total of 99 countries to come up with an outdoor adventure score. They looked into each destination’s options for hiking, camping, surfing, rock climbing, kayaking, and the number of national parks to reveal the place which the most opportunities for outdoor adventure per square mile. Greece ranks 12th as the best destination for adventure travel, with an outdoor adventure score of 71.9/100. Scoring 81.6 out of 100 overall, Croatia boasts beautiful coastlines and a number of national parks, as well as several opportunities to get involved in kayaking, rock climbing and hiking. Israel, Hong Kong, the UK and Singapore followed to make up the top five adventure travel capitals, each with overall scores over 77 out of 100. United Kingdom / Photo source: Superdry Other highlights: – Scoring highly for skydiving opportunities, as well as having several camping sites dotted around the country, the UK provides travelers with a multitude of adventurous activities to get stuck into – Europe dominates the top 20 most adventurous destinations, with 15 of the top 20 being located in the continent.
