Grivalia Hospitality, a leading investment company in the luxury hospitality sector, has completed the process of transferring its headquarters from Luxembourg to Greece.

One of the most important investors in Greece’s luxury hospitality sector, Grivalia Hospitality’s portfolio includes flagship luxury tourism projects including Amanzoe, One&Only Aesthesis in Glyfada, ON Residence and Avantmar on Paros.

According to a company announcement, this is the first headquarters transfer that has ever been completed from abroad to Greece.

“This strategic move demonstrates the confidence of both the management of Grivalia Hospitality, and its shareholders in the prospects for further growth of the Greek economy and in particular the tourism sector, but also the macroeconomic stability of the country,” the announcement said.

The decision is fully aligned with the company’s overall strategy to focus exclusively on the development of luxury hotels and resorts in Greece.

“It has been a strategic decision that we have been preparing methodically for 2 years, as we recognize the significant potential of our country for growth in all sectors, and especially in the ultra-luxury tourism sector. The fact that this is the first headquarters transfer successfully completed from abroad to our country gives us great pleasure and pride,” Grivalia Hospitality President & CEO George Chrysikos said.

The luxury tourism projects in the company’s portfolio are worth more than 510 million euros and once those under development are completed, the value is expected to exceed 1.1 billion euros.

“As Grivalia Hospitality, we strive to be a reference point towards growth for Greece, actively supporting the economy and the local community through our investment projects,” Chrysikos added.

Grivalia Hospitality was founded in 2015 and its share capital includes Fairfax, Eurolife, Eurobank and Grivalia Management.
