Costa Navarino, a sustainably driven destination in the Mediterranean, located in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, Greece, will kick off the 2023 season with an expanded destination proposition that includes a new beachfront ultra-luxury hospitality offering and unrivalled experiences. “2023 will be a milestone year for the destination, with its largest offering to date for its guests and residents,” Greek developer TEMES SA, the parent company of Costa Navarino, said in an announcement. The resort is uniquely designed in alignment with the destination’s sustainable principles, featuring planted roofs blending into the natural topography of the land, while it will offer the legendary service for which the brand is renowned. Unrivalled experiences Navarino Waterfront, Agora. Guests at Costa Navarino this season can also expect to live unrivalled experiences at the destination’s Navarino Agora and new Watersports Hub. Making its debut in April, the buzzing open marketplace Navarino Agora, located between Navarino Waterfront and Navarino Bay, will be open to all guests, residents and the general public. The marketplace will include a wide range of retail outlets, dining venues, street food options, an open-air cinema and an exciting event programme celebrating and showcasing the local culture and traditions. In addition, a new Watersports Hub, located at Navarino Waterfront, will further add to Costa Navarino’s diverse offering, from April as well. The hub will offer a wide range of water sports such as windsurf, waterski, as well as kayaks and SUPs, while featuring state of the art equipment and training options. A residential community comes to life Rolling Greens Villa, Buerger Katsota Architects (Costa Navarino Residences). 2023 will see the residential community of Costa Navarino Residences grow, as Navarino Dunes will welcome the first owners of Rolling Greens -the neighborhood which sold out within just a year since its launch in 2020- alongside the residents of the Sea Dunes and Olive Grove neighborhoods. Property owners are an integral part of the destination, embracing its core values of respect to the natural environment, local communities and heritage. This year, Costa Navarino Residences will also present its new residential project in the Navarino Dunes resort area, called Valley Greens. Flights to Kalamata Olympic Air – subsidiary of AEGEAN Airlines – will connect Kalamata to Athens International Airport (AIA) four times a week as of May 19, opening multiple international connections with the Star Alliance and AEGEAN network. Additional new routes will include weekly flights by AEGEAN as of May 15 connecting Tel-Aviv to Kalamata, and weekly flights from Nantes, operated by Spanish airline Volotea, starting on May 30. Located just 40 minutes away by car from Costa Navarino, Kalamata International Airport will welcome its first flight of the season on February 19 from Munich, followed by Stockholm and Copenhagen on February 25, all operated by AEGEAN.
