In its ninth year, the World Spa Awards is the sister event of World Travel Awards, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. In the World category, notable winners for 2023 include Switzerland’s Bürgenstock Alpine Spa, which claimed the coveted title for ‘World’s Best Hotel Spa’, whilst the iconic Palazzo Fiuggi, Italy was voted ‘World’s Best Wellness Retreat’. Mandarin Oriental collected ‘World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand’ for the second year running. Destination winners include Dubai, with its dazzling array of both traditional and leading-edge treatments, named ‘World’s Best Spa Destination’ and Bali heralded ‘World’s Best Wellness Destination’.
