The Greek island of Tinos in May 2024 will welcome its first luxury hotel with the opening of the Odera Tinos hotel.
According to an announcement, the Odera Tinos will aim to redefine the landscape of hospitality on the island by adding a “touch” of luxury and elegance.
Located at Vourni Beach, Odera is built on an area of 20.000 sq. m and is the latest project of the Greek private equity firm Tethys in collaboration with TConstructions, a design and construction firm. Tresor Hospitality has taken over the management of the resort.
Odera Tinos invites travelers to experience true local Tinian hospitality and culture through its 77 rooms and suites with private pools, natural materials and amenities that radiate the island’s vibrant energy.
Considered ideal for all travelers – solo, couples and families – the Odera features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool; a pool bar; two restaurants and two bars; and a beach. It also offers a spa and wellness center, a fitness center, a boutique, a meeting room, and a chapel.
At the Eos restaurant, guests can indulge in fine dining thanks to its à la carte menu curated by Greek chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos and inspired by Greek mythology, specifically Eos, the goddess of dawn and sister of Helios, the god of sun.
The hotel’s main bar and beach bar, both set in an elegant ambiance, is perfect for socializing and enjoying drinks and snacks, the bars are also available for hosting cocktail parties, weddings and other social events.
Facilities at the Odera hotel include a spa with unique therapeutic sessions in three treatment rooms, beachside massages, in-room treatments, and a range of luxurious beauty services with select products of local origin to complete the experience. Guests can also visit the hotel’s fully equipped gym with expert trainers ready to help them experience a wellness journey.
Odera visitors are invited to take part in the various activities it holds on the island such as hiking, fishing and marble carving sculpture workshops.
“Odera Tinos is a ‘union’ of luxury, culture and sustainability aiming to leave an indelible mark on the hospitality sector of Tinos,” the hotel’s management said in the announcement.

There are no private beaches in Greece in spite of what owners may try to tell you.
