Named “Vegan Green Festival”, the event will be held from June 7 to 9 at Zappeion as part of the 2nd Athens Green Festival. It will emphasize supporting small businesses committed to sustainability and fair working conditions. “Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the vegan and zero-waste lifestyle, receiving advice and support in a pleasant and empowering environment, while discovering new products and practices they were previously unaware of,” the organizers said in an announcement. Photos source: Vegan Green Festival Special tribute will be paid to individual women-owned businesses that produce certified ecological products, such as: – Natural cosmetics and creams not tested on animals – Clothes made of organic cotton and high-quality antiallergic fabrics – Deodorants with prebiotics, handmade soaps, and other care and hygiene products – Healthy food and beverages produced with practices that reduce ecological footprints Photos source: Vegan Green Festival Additionally, the festival will feature handmade jewelry, gifts, accessories, homewares, and other useful products for everyday life. The festival is organized by the volunteer group Vegan Fiesta Hellas, under the auspices of the Rural Development and Food Ministry and the Athens Municipality.
