A festival for vegans and those interested in exploring the lifestyle will soon open its gates in Athens, promoting veganism along with organic and eco-friendly products.

Named “Vegan Green Festival”, the event will be held from June 7 to 9 at Zappeion as part of the 2nd Athens Green Festival. It will emphasize supporting small businesses committed to sustainability and fair working conditions.

“Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the vegan and zero-waste lifestyle, receiving advice and support in a pleasant and empowering environment, while discovering new products and practices they were previously unaware of,” the organizers said in an announcement.

Special tribute will be paid to individual women-owned businesses that produce certified ecological products, such as:

Natural cosmetics and creams not tested on animals

– Clothes made of organic cotton and high-quality antiallergic fabrics

Deodorants with prebiotics, handmade soaps, and other care and hygiene products

Healthy food and beverages produced with practices that reduce ecological footprints

The festival is organized by the volunteer group Vegan Fiesta Hellas, under the auspices of the Rural Development and Food Ministry and the Athens Municipality.

More information about the festival can be found at veganfiesta.gr or on the social media accounts of the organizers.

The Vegan Green Festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with free entry.
