Set to open in the spring of 2025, the five-star Duchess hotel will aim to offer guests a luxurious hospitality experience on Thirassia, an island known for its traditional villages, volcanic nature, and breathtaking views of Santorini’s caldera, a major geological and tourist attraction. Renowned for its local architecture and picturesque beaches featuring water from local thermal springs, Thirassia boasts a serene atmosphere that makes it an ideal destination for a relaxing, carefree holiday, where authentic hospitality and Greek cuisine can be found in every corner. The true sense of Greek hospitality According to Aria Hotels, The Duchess will provide a unique accommodation experience that embodies authentic Greek hospitality, offering twelve luxurious suites with views of the Aegean Sea. The hotel will feature a stunning infinity pool inspired by the blue of the sea, and a spa that promises to take guests on a journey to tranquility. Gastronomy will be a highlight of The Duchess, with a fine dining menu at the hotel’s restaurant, offering a taste of refined Greek cuisine using fresh locally sourced ingredients. The Caldera on Santorini. Aria Hotels is a family chain of boutique hotels and independent residences. Its portfolio includes over 70 accommodation properties across Greece, promoting Greek hospitality as well as the country’s cultural and architectural heritage.
