Photo source: alltours German tour operator alltours recently expanded its flight program to the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes until late November, responding to high demand during the shoulder season. According to alltours, direct flights to Crete and Rhodes will continue by Condor and AEGEAN from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and other German airports. Flights to Crete will be available until November 24, while flights to Rhodes will continue until November 9. “Both destinations offer a summery climate even in autumn, with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius and ideal conditions for visiting the impressive archaeological sites,” the German tour operator said in an announcement. The expansion was driven by a record-breaking number of autumn bookings. According to alltours, the shoulder season is becoming increasingly appealing due to affordable pricing and the pleasant weather in many Mediterranean destinations. alltours also announced that it is also expanding its flight offerings to other popular destinations through November 2024. The list of destinations includes Mallorca, where many of the company’s hotels will remain open through autumn, and Türkiye, with the Turkish Riviera emerging as a popular choice for German travelers.
