SkyUp: Direct Flights from Chișinău to Thessaloniki and Heraklion in 2025

Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines recently announced the launch of direct, scheduled flights from Chișinău, Moldova, to Thessaloniki and Heraklion starting in 2025.

“We are seeing growing interest in visiting Greek cities. In response to market demand, we are launching direct flights from Moldova to Greece,” said SkyUp Airlines CEO Dmytro Sieroukhov.

As of April 2025, the airline will operate direct weekly flights from Chișinău to Thessaloniki every Tuesday, while routes to Heraklion, Crete, will run three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

“We look forward to welcoming passengers on board and providing quality service at a fair price,” Sieroukhov added.

SkyUp Airlines is an international brand with Ukrainian roots, founded in 2017. Within a few years, the company became one of the most dynamic aviation brands in Europe.

In 2025, the carrier will further scale its operations by launching regular routes from Moldova to European destinations such as France, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, and Greece.
